Technical Fund Marketing (TFM)
TFM specilaises in product management, marketing and communications for asset managers. Since our launch in 2005 we have worked with more than 30 asset management groups.
We provide technical marketing expertise in respect of closed and open-ended funds and we have full awareness of the latest regulatory requirements that need to be considered. We pride ourselves on delivering engaging content that is 'ready to go' - fully compliant and ready for sign-off and distribution.
As well as ad-hoc projects, we also provide on-site interim marketing and communications support to asset managers.
One of TFM's specialties is drafting and regulatory guidance in relation to statutory documents (such as UCITS Key Investor Information Documents (KIIDs) and Packaged Retail and Insurance based Investment Products Key Information Documents (PRIIP KIDs).
We keep at the forefront of regulatory developments and change by liaising closely with regulators and industry bodies across Europe. When new regulation generates queries, we approach our contact points (at the likes of HMRC, the Financial Conduct Authority, the Association of Investment Companies and the Investment Association) in order to remove this burden from our clients’ desks. We are also corporate members of TISA (Tax Incentivised Savings Association).
In 2006 we established Global Funds Registration, a joint venture (JV) business with FE, providing project management focused on the overseas registration of funds. Both regulatory guidance and undertaking the actual fund registrations in target jurisdictions formed part of the GFR solution. Subsequently we expanded the JV to launch our 'Kii Hub' product, a complete outsourced solution for UCITS Key Investor Information Documents (KIIDs). TFM's drafting and regulatory expertise was a core part of the success of Kii Hub, which went on to become an award-winning provider of regulatory documents.
In March 2017 we reached agreement to sell our 50% stake in GFR to FE. However, we continue to provide clients with specialist drafting and regulatory guidance as well as broader marketing communications.
